About us...                 

Bishop Jimmy Davidson has been in the ministry for forty years.  In that forty years, he has successfully started five churches and has been instrumental in helping many others get started.  He started Spring Abundant Life Tabernacle in the year 2000.  In 2005, Bishop began to travel full time in missionary ministry.  In the last five years, he conducted Missionary Campaigns in twenty-seven countries on four continents.  He has preached in major cities around the world including New York City, London, Rome, Paris, Lisbon, Barcelona, Naples, Florence, Dubrovnik, Corfu, Kenya, Ghana, Sudan, Guatemala, Costa Rica, El Salvador, and many others.

Bishop Jimmy is a native Houstonian.  He has been married to Jackie Davidson for thirty-nine years.  They are the proud parents of Jimmy III. and Joel, daughter-in-law Karen Davidson and Ana Davidson.  All of them serve the Lord and are in the ministry at Spring Abundant Life Tabernacle (SALT Church).  Our oldest son, Jimmy III., along with his wife, Karen, are the current pastors of SALT Church.  Our youngest son, Joel and his wife, Ana, have the Call of God on their life to the Foreign Mission Fields.  These two unique couples make a dynamic and motivated team who are destined and determined to make an impact and difference in our world.  We are especially blessed with three grandsons, Nathan, Caleb, and Joel Jr, and one granddaughter, Kathryn.  We can already see the generational anointing on their lives.  Our prayer is that they will become mighty warriors for God.  God has poured out special blessings on the Davidson Family.  We are united to work for the Kingdom of God!
